Race Information

This is the 2nd year for this race for our company, Final Stretch, Inc. We are looking forward to the Waseca Triathlon in 2011! The 1/3 Ironman Triathlon has a 1 mile Swim, 34 mile Bike and an 8.8 mile Run. The Sprint Triathlon has a ¼ mile Swim, 14 mile Bike and a 4.4 mile Run. You may race as an Individual, or as a Team of 2 or 3 people in both events. These races will get you out in the country where you can see plenty of rural Minnesota. You will start at the beautiful Clear Lake Park.

There were about 300 participants last year and we are adding room for more people this year. If there are still openings available will there be registration during Packet Pick Up times. All participants will receive a technical shirt, along with several goodies. We will also provide a great post-race meal for all triathletes! Please see Frequently Asked Questions for more information.

Participant t-shirts are by A4 for sizing chart click here.

The swim course is done by waves in 3 minutes intervals, first the 1/3 Ironman triathletes, and then Sprint triathletes. The bike portion is on mostly flat country paved roads. The run is also on fairly level terrain, mostly run on paved paths. Everyone will be chip timed, using Championchip timing by Final Time, Inc., with split times also recorded.
