Race Information

This is the 2nd year Final Stretch, Inc. has hosted the Spring Fling.  We are working with the MN Ovarian Cancer Alliance while creating a race just for women.  This race’s location was chosen for its beautiful trails, large sprawling park, and panoramic lake views.  Both events will wind through the trails of Silver Lake Park and surrounding areas of Rochester.

There will be women's cut technical shirts for all participants along with race bags filled with goodies that women can enjoy.  We will have coffee, tea and pastries after the race along with a big pamper area with massages, manicures, and other fun things.

There will be plenty of on street, residential parking at and around Jefferson Elementary School.

Course Information

It didn't take long to find a gem of a spot for the second annual Spring Fling Diva Run!  Situated just outside the heart of Rochester's Downtown area, Silver Lake and it's surrounding parks encompasses what we look for in a scenic, safe, and fun running course.  Runners will start and finish at Jefferson Elementary School just outside the park area, then wind through the quaint residential areas of eastern Rochester before entering the beautiful trail system.  Running along the paths you will encounter friendly Rochester neighborhoods, breathtaking snapshots of the downtown area, a vast array of local wildlife, along with wonderful views of Silver Lake.  You will be equally happy with either the 5k or 10k courses.  It's up to you what challenge you are looking for.

Background

This exciting Spring race is having its 2nd year in a row run for Divas in the Rochester and Metro areas...and beyond! Come out and be treated like a Diva!

Race Awards

Awards will be given to the top female runners in each age category: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & up. Award ceremonies will immediately follow the race near the start/finish line in the park.  There will also be many Diva door prizes that you will surely love!  Must be present to win.
