Parking

There is a parking lot on McMenemy Street just north of County Road F. There is overflow parking off McMenemy Street on Lily Pond Lane and Sunflower Court. Directions and parking areas are designated on the Directions/Parking link.

Course Information

The 5K course will run down on the road in between Vadnais Lake and return on the same route. The 10K will traverse lakes that are undeveloped and very secluded. The course goes around Sucker Lake and through the expanded and re-developed Vadnais Lake of Snail Lake Regional Park. The courses will remind you of being up north after seeing the pine and aspen trees, and the loons on the lakes.

Background

This is the 8th year that Final Stretch has managed the Vadnais Heights Heritage Run, now called the Snail Run. The course will give you an “Up North” feeling as you run between tall pines and around the two lakes. These lakes are pristine as no motorboats or cabins are allowed. The event is part of the Vadnais Heights Heritage Days celebrating the great history of their town. After the race, you can enjoy a great parade and food stands at the City Park.
