Fundraising Benefit
Help us win the race against childhood cancer by participating
in the 6th annual Time to Fly Run/Walk on Saturday, June 28,
2008. This family-friendly event benefiting Children's Cancer
Research Fund takes place on beautiful Harriet Island in St.
Paul. From the recreational walker to the competitive runner,
there is something for every age and ability level including:
10K Run, 5K Run, 5K Walk and 1K Kids' Fun Run! The competitive
activities begin at 8:00 a.m. with the 5K Run, followed by the
10K Run at 8:30 a.m. At 9:30 a.m. gather family, friends,
co-workers and neighbors for a more leisurely 5K Walk along the
gorgeous Mississippi River. The morning action continues at
10:30 a.m. with the 1K Kids’ Fun Run around Harriet Island
Regional Park where all participants will receive an award!
Activities will also include a family entertainment area with a
variety of activities to keep the kids smiling, supervised and
safe while everyone enjoys the morning. The summer festivities
will also include a wonderful variety of treats and refreshing
drinks, performance t-shirts, musical entertainment and goodie
bags for all walkers and runners! Make a bigger impact by
creating a fundraising team! Gather your co-workers, family
members and friends to form a Time to Fly team to collect
pledges and donations. Run or walk together to honor a past or
present cancer patient. Please visit www.ccrftimetofly.com
