Race Information
The 5K, 10K, and 20 Mile courses are run through some of the most beautiful and well-known areas in the Upper Mid-West. These great races prepare runners for the Twin Cities’ Marathon or for the Twin Cities’ 10 Mile. All of the courses are fast, flat and quiet. The three races will start at the high school. All finishers will receive a long sleeve shirt and plenty of food and goodies. Just a reminder to everyone that, due to parking issues, the location of the race start was changed for the 2008 season. It is now on the east side of White Bear Lake High School, North Campus.

Pacers

Final Stretch is proud to announce the addition of the Minnesota Pacers to the Get Ready to Rock for the 2010 running of the event.  They will have pacers pacing the 20 mile and the 10K.

What is a pacer?
A pacer is the runner in the group who carries a sign and leads the group to
the finish line in a specific time goal. The pacer will run even splits and
cheer on the group along the way. If you are on Facebook, go to Minnesota
Pacers group to read more and email directly to the group. Become a fan if
you want!!

How do I sign up for a pace group?
Feel free to stop by the pacers booth at the park and sign up for free. The
pacers will be handing out pace bands to runners at the booth as well.

What if I have any further questions that are not answered here?
Great. Feel free to email the pace team leader at pacersam@yahoo.com Pacer Sam will be more than happy to answer your pace team related questions.

Parking
Parking is on the East and West sides of the North Campus high school. There is also parking south of the school, on the south side of the bus lot. More parking is available on 12th Street and Division Street north of the school. Directions and parking areas are designated on the Directions/Parking link at the top of the page.

Course Information
The 5K and 10K courses were redesigned for the 2009 season. Each course has a large percentage of its run next to Bald Eagle Lake. The 20 mile course has a 5 mile tour of White Bear Lake Township, does two laps around Bald Eagle Lake, and has a fast finish to White Bear Lake High School. Registration and finish line are located on the east side of the high school.

Background
2010 is the 13th anniversary for the Get Ready to Rock Races. This race has a unique history, as it is part of the original Twin Cities Marathon course. A majority of the runners completing the 20 miler are preparing for the Twin Cities Marathon or the Chicago Marathon!
