- We are giving $1 per runner to the
Children's Cancer
Research Fund for this event.
This is one of the most beautiful and
well-known 30K and 10 Mile courses in the Mid-West. The
30K course goes around three lakes in the White Bear Lake area
and the 10 Mile goes around Bald Eagle Lake. Even the 5K
run is next to the lake for over a third of the event!! Our
numbers have been growing and we are hoping for record number in
2007!
Background
2008 is the
13th year for the Northern Lakes Run. This is one of the most
beautiful and well-known 30K and 10 Mile courses in the
Mid-West. This is a great race to ready runners for the
Grandma's Marathon or for Grandpa's 1/2 Marathon. Both courses
are certified, flat and quiet. Many state and national records
have been broken at this event and we are expecting many more to
fall in the years to come!! The 30K course goes around three
lakes in the White Bear Lake area and the 10 Mile goes around
Bald Eagle Lake. Even the 5K run next to the lake for over
a third of the event!! Our numbers have been growing and we are
hoping for record number in 2008!
