The race begins at the south beach of Lake Independence at Baker Park Reserve located at 2301 County Road 19, about 20 miles west of downtown Minneapolis, MN.

From Minneapolis:

From the west side of I-494, take Exit 19B onto US Hwy 12/Wayzata Blvd. Drive about 9 miles, until you come to a stoplight for Baker Rd/County Rd 29. Take a right onto County Rd 29. In ½ mile follow the road to the right (It becomes Perkinsville Rd). Then in ½ mile follow the road to the left (It is now County Rd 19). Go 3 blocks and turn left in Baker Park Reserve.

There is plenty of parking at Baker Park Reserve. Follow the signs and volunteers to help you park. There is no fee to enter the park.
